Job Description, Responsibilities, Standards, and Qualifications

Job Description:


Analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems. Supports the user community in the use of functional business tools and support systems.


Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

1.
Administers training for business users
2.
Analyzes information to determine nature and extent of customer requirements and concerns
3.
Assists in the development of standards and procedures used in development of new or enhancement of existing systems
4.
Consults with vendors or technical staff to insure that functionality of automated system is consistent with adherence to laws, regulations, and best practice standards by users
5.
Develops change management plans for transition to new or upgraded systems
6.
Documents business processes for users of new or upgraded system
7.
Participates in evaluation of new technologies or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems
8.
Participates in the establishment of standards and procedures to be used in the development of systems
9.
Provides customer support in the maintenance of systems
10.
Researches and analyzes system/user problems by applying a variety of analytical and research techniques
11.
Tests or coordinates testing of new installations or upgrades

Entry Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field Or Associate degree in a related field and two years of related experience Or Two years at the lower level or equivalent (ITP060)
