Through the Employees' Suggestion Program, Georgia's state government employees have
a chance to receive recognition and up to $5000 for an adopted suggestion. |

Created by law, the Employees' Suggestion Program encourages employees to make suggestions
to improve Georgia state government operations, saving taxpayer dollars and increasing the
effectiveness and efficiency of State government. The State Personnel Board makes final
determination of any action on suggestions to be adopted, including the amount of any
compensation award to be provided. All recommended cash awards approved and adopted are
paid by the agency adopting the suggestion within the fiscal year the suggestion is
authorized for payment.
