Geraldine “Geri” P. Thomas, Chair,
serves as senior vice president, corporate diversity executive and retail staffing executive for Bank of America. She is a member of the board of advisors for Great Schools Atlanta, the board of directors of the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency and the board of trustees of the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from Georgia State University. She and her husband, Ronald, have two grown children. |

Hal Roach, Jr., Vice-chair, is an attorney and partner in the law firm Hal Roach, Jr., P.E. He is chairman of the Advisory Board of directors of the Statesboro Branch of Park Avenue Bank and serves as a member of the Bulloch county Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Roach and his wife, Susan has three grown children. |

Robert “Rob” R. Joseph, Member
State Personnel Board, is an attorney with Hill Kertscher Y Wharton, LLP. He previously served as a senior associate for Morris, Manning and Martin, LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, a member of the executive committee of the Atlanta Lawyers Chapter of Federalist Society and a member of the Druid Hills United Methodist Church. Joseph earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College and a law degree from Emory University. He is married to Leslie Joseph. |

G. Norman Bennett, Member State Personnel Board, retired in 2005 as the senior human resource director at Packaging Corporation of America. He held several positions at Owens-Illinois from manufacturing to safety director. Bennett served on the Lowndes County Board of Commissioners for twenty years. He is a member of the Quitman-Brooks County chamber of Commerce and the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University and a master’s degree in business from Florida Atlantic University. Bennett and his wife, Robin, have six children and five grandchildren. |

Patti S. Bailey State Personnel Board, is the director of labor relations for AT&T. Her responsibilities include labor strategy and negotiations for operations in the southeastern states. Before her current assignment, Ms. Bailey held the position of director of human resources for Bellsouth. Over the past 21 years, Ms. Bailey has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility within the company and brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the areas of employee relations, labor relations, compensation, and performance. She is a native Georgian and a graduate of Mercer University. |
