MID-YEAR PREMIUM REDUCTION…
In June 2008, State of Georgia employees will experience a reduction in their Flexible Benefits Program premiums. The State Personnel Administration (SPA) requested agreement from current contractors to explore cost savings enhancements in exchange for a guaranteed extension of their current contracts. As a result, the Flexible Benefits Program participants will receive from 4 to 10% cost savings on premiums over the next 2.7 years, totaling approximately 14.5 million in reduced premium cost.
Flex will be using View Direct for Manual agencies to access their monthly Flexible Benefits Billing Statement. To retrieve the monthly statements, agencies will sign onto the GTA Electronic Reporting System website GAGTA . Users will enter their MEMS (health insurance) user ID and password in the lower right portion of the screen. The Report ## will be your Flex Billing Statement number located in the upper left corner of your Flex bill. To ensure a smooth transition, it will be very important for agencies to carefully review all correspondence sent from Flex. We hope this is a convenient method of receiving your statement in a more-timely manner. Please reconcile your statement and return it to Flexible Benefits, with your payment, ASAP. Please refer to your calendar and note the due dates of each reconcile statement.
