Unique Career and Development Opportunities

The State of Georgia
The state of Georgia offers traditional and unique career and development opportunities. Career advancement and/or change in responsibilities to best suit individual skills, talents and enrichment desires and organizational needs are common practice in state government. Professional development, specialized training, coaching and mentoring opportunities, succession planning, tuition assistance for specialized jobs within specific organizations, and cross-agency team stretch assignments are all career-enhancement programs offered by the State.

Positioned throughout the state are unique jobs that are only available to state employees. Individuals who live in Georgia and aspire to have a career in forensic science can only gain that experience with the State Crime Lab.
