Guidelines for Critical Hire Approval

In accordance with Governor Sonny Perdue’s announcement regarding the slowdown in state revenue collections, hiring over the next several months is limited to positions considered mission critical. To assist state agencies in making appropriate hiring decisions, the State Personnel Administration has created a set of guidelines to be followed to fill critical positions.
